complaints choir of st petersburg

After a long break of organizing complaints choirs ourselves, this time we were temped to say yes… We had an opportunity to get involved with complaints choirs starting in our two home cities in Germany – Dresden where Oliver lived his first 18 years, and Berlin where we spend a lot of time every year. So, here we are, looking for members for those two choirs!

The Complaints Choirs of Berlin and Dresden start rehearsing in the beginning of November. Anyone is welcome to join this project, which has turned individual complaints into choir songs already in more than 100 countries all around the world!

Send your complaints and join the hilarious choir workshops. Any topic allowed, big or small! Within five meetings we transform complaints of the choir members into an impressive choir song with the help of musician Catriona Shaw (Berlin) and Santiago Blaum (Dresden) – and perform it in public.

– No singing skills required!
– Some food served at each rehearsal
– Participation is free

The Complaints Choir of Berlin is organised by Nordwind festival. The Dresden choir is organised in collaboration with Nordwind and Kultur Aktiv e,V, which was formed 2002 to develop the culture of the district and backyard of Dresden Neustadt. Since 1 1/2 years they developed „„Beschwerdechor – Dresden““ -project basing on our idea. By coincidence they heard that Nordwind festival is as well organizing the complaints choir to Dresden – so the two projects united into a collaborating on this.
