BIASED is an interactive performance that divides the audience into groups A and B. The groups are separated by a “wall of cognitive biases”. While this wall is slowly torn down during the performance the awareness of the various biases is rising in the room. BIASED is built on the performative potential of psychological tests that try to measure cognitive biases in often rather unusual and creative ways.
The performance was born out of a collaboration between actor Matija Kezele, musician Fred Nevche, artist duo Tellervo Kalleinen & Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen and director Anna-Mari Karvonen. The project was created as a part of Espoo Theatre’s contribution to the Centriphery project. All images by Darina Rodionoa.
