WHAT I WISH I HAD LEARNED IN SCHOOL (WIWIHLIS) is a series of performative lectures by people sharing insights into all those important topics that were not teached in school. The invitation asked: “Is there some knowledge, skill or understanding about something in particular that would have helped you considerably in life, if you had learned it at school?” 10 people joined the project and developed a 3 day curriculum. The final classes ranged from practical skills such as drilling a hole into concrete walls to important personal revelations on how to deal with a deathly desease. This project was created with Maija Hirvanen for the Palikkaoopperaa by Kristian Smeds.
