In August 2003 we organized the first
Summit of Micronations in Helsinki in the
context of the performance festival Amorph!03. The
summit was held at the legendary Finlandia house.
Temporary embassies of micronations were opened on
Harakka island. An extensive reader on micronations
was published and an exhibition about the summit was
shown at the Finnish Embassy in London. The project
took another turn when the artist group YKON
was founded in order to continue working on the
topic of micronations and social experiments. The
Summit of Micronations was produced by the
artists´association Muu.
